Before Glockchain, our customers had the option to take their gun to a gun show or list their gun to an online marketplace like Gunbroker.com, but these options are less profitable to our customers. Additionally, they could sell the gun privately to an individual party. However, conducting a private sale responsibly can be an arduous and time-consuming process, even in states with the most lenient gun laws. Many states do not require a private bill of sale, but it is recommended as it serves as proof of ownership and protects the buyer and seller against any disputes after the transfer. Private bills of sale are an antiquated, paper-based transaction, similar to if you were to sell your car privately.
